We're Mad as Hell: An Open Letter to the Mets Fan Community
In the movie Network, Howard Beale told America to stick their heads out the window and yell: “I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!”
Mets fans, it's our turn.

Every Mets group on Facebook — dozens of them, hundreds of thousands of us — lives at the mercy of an algorithm. It decides who sees what, and it can take everything away overnight. We know, because it happened to us.
Kiner's Korner had 9,000 members. In May, Facebook locked our admins out of our own group — not for anything anyone posted or did. Five months later, we're still locked out. Meta's own file admits it's a glitch on their end. We're still waiting for a human being to fix it.
So we stopped waiting. We spent these five months rebuilding kinerskorner.com into our own home for Mets fans: daily Mets content, interviews and podcasts, Mets games, and Talkin' Mets on the Korner — real groups where all of us can talk without an algorithm in the middle.
Here's the ask: plant your Mets flag somewhere nobody can take it. Join us at kinerskorner.com . Taking part in the groups is free. And it will always be free — no paywalls, no premium tiers, no algorithm deciding your worth. And to every other Mets group admin: link arms with us — before the algorithm picks your group next.
Howard Beale wanted people mad. We'd rather get organized. You don't even have to open the window.
Just open kinerskorner.com.
