The Korner Arcade: Mets Jeopardy — How to Play

2 min read

Welcome to The Korner Arcade — the daily games room of Kiner's Korner. Six games, Monday through Saturday — a different game every day, with Sundays off. Play the day's game, paste your result in the group's daily thread, and climb the standings — every night we crown a Best of the Day (5 points for the winner, 3 for second, 1 for third).

Thursdays belong to Mets Jeopardy — this is Jeopardy, Kiner's Korner style, and you're not playing alone. Mr. Met hosts.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Six Mets categories, five clues each, $200 to $1,000. Pick a clue and answer the question — you've got 12 seconds.

2. You're up against two rival MLB mascots, and they rotate every game. They buzz in fast — dawdle and the Phillie Phanatic, the ringer of the bunch, will take your clue. Answer wrong and they can steal it off your miss, too. The mascots even show up in their real photos now.

3. Somewhere on the board hides the Daily Double — and it's a Name That Voice: a short clip of a Met speaking, from 17 years of SPORTSTALKNY interviews. Name the voice and your wager pays off double or nothing.

4. Finish with Final Jeopardy — one last wager decides it all. Then hit Copy My Result and paste your final score in the day's thread in The Korner Arcade group. That paste is your leaderboard entry.

Best of the Day: highest final score takes the crown — and negative scores count, so bet that Daily Double like you mean it. Or don't.

Play it in The Korner Arcade group, right here on kinerskorner.com. Signing up is free. Playing is free. It will always be free.
