The Korner Arcade: The Korner Grid — How to Play

Welcome to The Korner Arcade — the daily games room of Kiner's Korner. Six games, Monday through Saturday — a different game every day, with Sundays off. Play the day's game, paste your result in the group's daily thread, and climb the standings — every night we crown a Best of the Day (5 points for the winner, 3 for second, 1 for third).

Mondays belong to The Korner Grid — the 3×3 grid you know, with one Mets twist: every answer played for the Mets.

HOW TO PLAY

1. Each row and column gives you a category or a team. Fill all 9 boxes with a Met who fits BOTH.

2. You get 9 guesses total — right or wrong, a guess is a guess. Choose carefully!

3. Your score is a rarity score: the more obscure your correct picks, the LOWER your score — and lower wins. Anybody can name the obvious guy. Legends find the September call-up.

4. When you finish, hit Copy My Result and paste it in the day's thread in The Korner Arcade group. That paste is your leaderboard entry.

Best of the Day: the lowest rarity score takes the crown. One grid a day, same grid for everybody. No peeking at Baseball-Reference — honor system, this is a family room.
